Community Builder - UAE

Global to Local Execution: Adapt and implement global community initiatives into the UAE market, ensuring global programs are seamlessly localized to drive strong regional engagement and adoption.

Community Engagement & Outreach: Take full ownership of engaging a high-quality local ecosystem. You will proactively source, connect with, and nurture key profiles through events, local content, portfolio management, and 1:1 interactions to transform them into an active network of brand advocates.

Event & Content Activation: Design and execute a "must-attend" event roadmap and high-value content tailored to the UAE (newsletters, articles, localized communications) to activate the community and establish Malt's presence in the local freelance scene.

Business Alignment & Sales Synergy: Act as a vital link between community programs and local Sales goals, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure every community initiative aligns with business objectives and supports local growth.

Ecosystem Partnerships & Performance: Establish relationships with key local actors (Chambers of Commerce, freelance permit providers) to expand visibility while tracking and reporting on community metrics to drive continuous improvement. 

Background & Experience: 3+ years of experience in Sales, Event Management, Community Activation, or Project Management.

Regional Experience: Proven experience living/working in the Middle East (ideally UAE), with a solid grasp of local market dynamics and business etiquette.

Hands-on & Autonomous Builder: Comfortable building from scratch in an emerging market with a high degree of execution autonomy. You thrive in operational, fast-paced environments and take pride in getting things done.

Concrete Project & Event Management: Proven ability to organize end-to-end events (logistics, invitations, execution) and deploy practical outreach campaigns.

Relationship & Service Mindset: Natural connector who loves engaging directly with people, organizing gatherings, and building genuine, trust-based relationships with freelancers.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to write engaging event copy and outreach emails.

Languages: Professional fluency in English is required; French and/or Arabic is a strong plus.
