Description:

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain and Logistics Lead to join Mariana’s Technical Operations organization, advancing personalized medicine and radiopharmaceuticals.  As the Associate Director of Supply Chain and Logistics, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain process within our organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless movement of goods and materials throughout the supply chain, with a particular focus on radiation shipments. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as IATA (International Air Transport Association) and DOT (Department of Transportation).


Illustrative Breadth of Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement the supply chain and logistics strategy aligned with the overall company goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency in the supply chain.

Supply Chain Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including forecasting, sourcing, procurement, inventory management, production planning, and order fulfillment.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and monitoring supplier performance to ensure reliability and quality.

Logistics Management:

  • Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.
  • Take charge of all aspects related to the shipment of radioactive materials, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory guidelines and safety protocols.
  • Optimize logistics processes to minimize lead times and reduce transportation costs while maintaining service levels.

 Customer & Order Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clinical sites, managing end-to-end order intake and ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Review and approve order forms for accuracy, compliance, and readiness, coordinating closely with Clinical Operations.
  • Align with Manufacturing and QA to schedule production, ensuring timely batch preparation and release.
  • Drive seamless communication across sites and internal teams to ensure on-time execution of production and delivery.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards pertaining to supply chain and logistics operations.
  • Stay up to date with all relevant regulations, particularly those set forth by IATA and DOT, that govern the transportation of hazardous materials, including radiation. Implement and maintain processes to ensure full compliance throughout the supply chain.
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments, including finance, operations and manufacturing to align supply chain strategies with business needs and forecasts.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance overall company performance.


Requirements/Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, with 8+ years’ relevant work experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of IATA and DOT regulations governing the shipment of hazardous materials and the ability to interpret and implement these guidelines effectively.
  • Proven experience in supply chain and logistics management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics processes, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in using supply chain management software and systems.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changes and challenges.

Mariana Oncology Compensation Summary:

The salary for this position is expected to range between $114,100 and $211,900 per year. Your compensation will also include a performance-based cash incentive.


The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and will be reviewed periodically upon joining Mariana Oncology. Mariana may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.
