Marksman Security is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for Security to support site leadership in delivering consistent, high-quality security operations at a large-scale, fast-paced site. This position is 2nd in command over a very large team of security officers.
This role is essential to maintaining operational continuity, supporting personnel, and ensuring that security standards are executed effectively across all shifts. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily security operations to ensure all posts are staffed and functioning effectively
- Coordinate with supervisors and officers to maintain coverage and address operational needs
- Monitor communications and respond to priorities, changes, and escalations
- Assist with scheduling, staffing adjustments, and workforce planning
- Reinforce adherence to post orders, safety standards, and professional expectations
- Support access control processes and help resolve site access issues
- Ensure incidents are properly documented and support follow-up investigations
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement
- Maintain accountability for security equipment, vehicles, and assigned resources
- Support coaching, development, and performance management of security personnel
- Assist with reporting, documentation, and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Experience in security operations, law enforcement, military, or a related field
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated initiative and sound decision-making ability
- Experience with scheduling, reporting, or workforce coordination preferred
Additional Information
- Schedule flexibility may be required, including evenings, weekends, and on-call support
- This role serves as a key extension of site leadership and plays a critical role in maintaining operational standards
