M&A Internship

As an M&A Intern in our Madrid office, you will be fully involved in live deals from day one. You will work directly with experienced dealmakers, ambitious entrepreneurs and international colleagues across Europe. No shadowing from the sidelines. Real responsibility, real learning and real impact.

This internship is designed for students who want to experience the fast-moving world of mergers and acquisitions while developing both analytical and commercial skills in an entrepreneurial environment.

You will support our deal teams throughout the entire transaction process and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of M&A.

From market research and financial analysis to valuations and client preparation, you will become part of the deal team and learn by doing.

As an M&A Intern at Marktlink, you can broadly expect the following responsibilities:

  Perform market research, company analysis and financial analysis;

• →

  Support the preparation of valuations and financial models in Excel;

• →

  Assist in preparing presentations, information memorandums and pitch materials;

• →

  Support commercial activities and buyer research;

• →

  Help coordinate ongoing transactions and project activities;

• →

  Work closely with deal teams across multiple industries and sectors;

• Are currently studying a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field;

• Have a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail;

• Are commercially driven and interested in entrepreneurship and M&A;

• Enjoy working in a fast-paced and ambitious environment;

• Are proactive, eager to learn and not afraid to take responsibility;

• Have experience with Excel and PowerPoint;

• Speak fluent Spanish and English;

• Available between 2 to 6 months;

• Available for 5 days a week.

• 750,- euro’s per month internship compensation;
