Director of Operations Lead Performance, Shape Strategy, Inspire ExcellenceWe are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Director of Operations to join our Executive Committee and lead all aspects of hotel operations. As a strategic business leader, you will develop and implement property-wide initiatives that enhance guest satisfaction, drive financial performance, strengthen associate engagement, and deliver a strong return on investment.
Working closely with the General Manager, ownership stakeholders, and department leaders, you will oversee Front of House, Retail, Recreation, Housekeeping, Security, Engineering, and Food & Beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and sustainable business success.
What You'll Be Doing- Leading and developing departmental leaders across all operational functions.
- Driving operational excellence while ensuring brand standards and service expectations are consistently achieved.
- Developing and executing operational strategies aligned with business and brand objectives.
- Identifying opportunities to improve profitability, productivity, and guest satisfaction.
- Managing departmental budgets and delivering commercial performance against agreed targets.
- Proactively leading capital expenditure projects and ensuring investment supports the hotel's strategic priorities.
- Using business insight and operational data to identify challenges, drive solutions, and deliver continuous improvement.
- Building strong relationships with guests, associates, ownership groups, and key stakeholders.
- Championing a culture of engagement, accountability, and service excellence across the property.
- Leading the implementation of brand and regional initiatives while ensuring successful execution at property level.
- Proven leadership experience within a luxury or premium hospitality environment.
- Strong experience leading complex, multi-department hotel operations.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with a track record of delivering financial and operational results.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasting, productivity, and capital investment projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including exposure to ownership and asset management relationships.
- A passion for guest experience combined with a focus on profitability and operational efficiency.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
- Degree qualification in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred.
