We are now recruiting for an experienced Human Resource Officer to join our five-star, luxurious boutique hotel. ARE YOU ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE UK?

To assist the Human Resources Manager and/or MP Director Human Resources in maintaining positive internal and external relationships with both Associates and Managers. Provide a consistent high standard of administration and non administration support to the Human Resources Department to support achievement of the business goals and strategies. 

This role demands excellent organisational skills, creativity, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to balance multiple priorities under pressure. It is ideally suited to someone passionate about people development, sustainability, and making a difference both within and outside the hotel.

Requirements

Experience 

  • Previous Human Resources experience in hospitality essential
  • Previous administrative experience essential 
  • Payroll experience would be advantageous 
  • Previous supervisory experience desirable

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
  • Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy of spelling and grammar, layout and content formation essential
  • Highly organized and efficient approach required 
  • Must have excellent attention to detail 
  • Ability to manage varying needs and prioritizing to ensure best business results
  • Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders

Education or Certification

  • High School completion or equivalent required; preferably around administration and secretarial qualifications
  • Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, student (or similar) certification preferred or a willingness to study to at least level 5
  • Certification in coaching, mentoring and/or learning and development desirable.
