Job Description:
The Medication Assistance Coordinator position will be responsible for compiling financial information on new referrals; keeping an ongoing patient database for reordering; completion of applications and contacts with patients, office personnel in physicians' offices and pharmaceutical companies. This position will speak with patients regarding medications, complete application renewals quarterly, compile annual summaries for physician offices and an annual cost savings report. Will attend Medicare State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP). Will perform other duties assigned in the Social Services department.
EDUCATION: GED or High School Diploma required.
CERTIFICATION: Active Notary Public Commission in the State of Nebraska, maintained in good standing required (can be acquired within one month of hire if does not presently have).
