Analyst, Indirect Tax

Masimo International Sarl is seeking an Indirect Tax Analyst to join a team of skilled accountants in its international finance and accounting operations headquartered in Neuchatel, Switzerland. The position is part of Finance team covering the Swiss International principal company and International sales entities across Europe, Middle East, Latin America and Asia. The Indirect Tax Analyst will handle all necessary indirect tax compliance in these jurisdictions.

Specific responsibilities:

• Key involvement in VAT returns preparation for several international jurisdictions. Including reconciliation with accounting records and follow up of filings to authorities.

• Preparation and filings of intrastat and intra-community transactions.

• Liaise with external consultants for indirect tax matters and on jurisdictions new regulations. 

• Collaborates across indirect tax function and with other teams on business on indirect tax changes and impacts.

• Assist in day-to-day operational guidance to business and finance functions to enable go-to-market projects and manage the indirect tax aspects of new business initiatives.

• Maintain and update process documentation.

   

Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Experience in ERP transition and/or Oracle E-business tax is a key asset

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in indirect taxes in a multinational environment.

• Pro-active, team player oriented, reliable and hands-on approach

• Willingness and ability to recognize and adapt to changing business requirements

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Experience working in an indirect tax consulting company and multinational environment is an asset.

• Advanced Excel skills and good general understanding of ERP systems

• Fluent in English, both verbal and written, fluency in a second language will be a plus
