Rehabilitation Veterinary Technician

Prioritize caseload and patient care, prepare and review charts for appropriate paperwork, as well as ensure accurate documentation 

Restrain and assist with examinations and therapies 

Prepare prescriptions, harnesses and needed information for clients 

Discuss therapies and recommendations, as well as address client questions and concerns 

Coordinate interdepartmental communication, services, patient transfers and consults 

Perform and/or assist with patient therapies using multiple modalities including underwater treadmill, laser therapy, chiropractic adjustments, ultrasound, Assisi loop and land therapies 

State Registered Veterinary Technician license required 

Prior veterinary experience required, previous rehabilitation experience desired 

Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
