Join our team! Menards Distribution Center is hiring for Warehouse Team Members (Forklift Operator/Material Handler) who are responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products into and out of our Distribution Center.

· Warehouse Team Member - 2nd shift (3PM until 11:30PM or 4PM until 12:30AM)

· Warehouse Team Member - 3rd shift (10:30PM until 7AM or 11:45PM until 7:15AM)

*We offer flexible part-time scheduling as well

Responsibilities

→Follow Menards safety policies and procedures
→Safely operate forklift or other machinery
→Work cooperatively and productively with other Team Members under little supervision
→Load trucks according to cubic weight, size and characteristics
→Provide outstanding service with attention to detail and completing tasks in a timely manner
→Maintain condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
→Perform safety check of powered industrial vehicle prior to operation
→Locate product in warehouse using manifest or scanning system
→Use hand-held scanning equipment to add or subtract product from inventory
→Record quantity of product actually loaded onto manifest system
→Ensure accuracy of load by verifying quantity with computer inquiry screens
→Transport product from production/receiving areas using powered industrial vehicle
→Additional duties assigned by Distribution Center Management
