Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a PRN Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at our program in Yuba City, CA.    

Earn $33.00 -$35.00 per hour, depending on experience

As a MH/BH/IDD Licensed Vocational Nurse you will be coordinating services and care in a community based program. While working under the supervision of an RN the LVN is responsible for overall medical needs of assigned individuals in our program. Performs nursing duties including assessment, treatment and follow through resolution of all health issues.

• Providing insulin and following diabetic orders.
• Chart and MAR reviews.
• Medication reorders and coordination with pharmacies/providers.
• Participation in community outings and appointments.
• Collaboration with families, conservators, and IDT team members.
• Support implementation of behavioral and medical care plans.
• Provide Type 1 diabetes management
• Schedule medical appointments

REQUIREMENTS

• Active and unrestricted CA LVN license.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Behavioral health or residential experience.
• Type 1 diabetes management experience.
• Insulin administration.
• Familiarity with Dexcom continuous glucose monitoring system.
• Developmental disability services.
