AI Amplify Engineer

The Metabit Amplify Team is an elite squad dedicated to building AI-native engineering infrastructure. We design and implement end-to-end AI coding agent systems that multiply every engineer's productivity by 3-5x.

We don't write trading strategies—we build tools and systems that multiply strategy engineers' efficiency. We are also firm believers and practitioners of open source:

Responsibility

• Design and build the company's AI coding agent system, enabling end-to-end automation from human instructions to PR submission
• Build isolated devbox sandbox environments to ensure agents run in secure, isolated environments
• Develop and maintain the agent Skills system and CLI toolset, exposing internal toolchains (data pipelines, task tracking, code search, CI/CD) to AI agents
• Design the agent blueprint system—encoding common task patterns (bug fixes, feature implementation, code migration, test generation) into reusable workflows
• Establish agent performance tracking: dashboards for success rate, CI pass rate, review pass rate, and average completion time
• Collaborate with engineers across the company to collect feedback, iterate on agent capabilities, and promote AI-native workflows
• Explore and evaluate cutting-edge AI tools (Claude Code, Goose, Codex, etc.) to select the optimal tech stack for Metabit
• Build open source ecosystem: open source Agent core and general capability modules, deeply participate in frontier community collaboration

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with solid system design and backend development skills (proficiency in Python/TypeScript/Go)
• Deep understanding and practical experience in AI/LLM application development, familiar with prompt engineering, agent frameworks, and tool use
• Familiar with developer toolchain ecosystem: CI/CD, code search, sandboxing/containerization, CLI tool development
• Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with engineers from different backgrounds and drive organization-level workflow changes
• Self-driven with high curiosity about cutting-edge AI technologies, able to independently explore and prototype new ideas

Nice to have 

• Experience building internal tool platforms (developer experience / developer productivity)
• Understanding of quantitative trading infrastructure (market data, trading protocols, low-latency systems)
• Contribution experience to open source AI agent projects
• Experience designing or using enterprise-level AI coding agent systems
• Experience with Slack bot / ChatOps development
