MHN 340B Analyst

The 340B Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining the 340B Drug Discount Program for Marshall Health Network. This role includes oversight of drug purchasing, inventory processes, split-billing software, contract pharmacy relationships, reporting, and regulatory compliance. The analyst plays a key role in ensuring program integrity and adherence to all applicable 340B requirements.

• →Assist in the administration and maintenance of the 340B program, including purchasing, inventory management, and compliance monitoring
• →Support split-billing software operations, including maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting
• →Collaborate with contract pharmacies, wholesalers, and software vendors to ensure effective program operations
• →Serve as a liaison with vendors to manage contractual compliance and resolve issues
• →Assist with monthly reporting, quarterly self-audits, and annual independent audits
• →Monitor purchasing and inventory activity to ensure appropriate 340B utilization
• →Review transactions for discrepancies and resolve billing or compliance issues
• →Maintain accurate system data, including drug formularies and product updates
• →Stay current on 340B regulations, policies, and industry trends
• →Partner with internal departments such as IT, Finance, and Pharmacy to support program performance
• →Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures
• →Provide education and support to internal teams and contract pharmacy partners as needed

• Associate degree in Accounting or related field (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• West Virginia Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration (required)
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (required)
• Apexus Advanced 340B Certificate (preferred)

• Up to 1 year of relevant experience required
• 1–2 years of 340B or related healthcare experience preferred
• Experience working with the 340B program in a Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of pharmacy terminology
