As a   Design Engineer – Design for Test (DFT) in the NVEG organization at Micron Semiconductor Italia, you will be responsible for the integration, optimization, and validation of DFT architectures for advanced NAND Flash memory products.
In this role, you will work closely with multi-functional teams to improve testability, product quality, cost efficiency, and time‑to‑market, bringing to bear innovative DFT strategies across digital logic, custom circuits, firmware, and silicon validation.

•   M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

•   Strong understanding of digital design, verification, and test/DFT principles.

•   Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.

•   Hands-on experience with simulation and validation methodologies for digital or mixed-signal designs.

•   Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

•   Experience in NAND Flash or other non-volatile memory technologies.

•   Familiarity with design automation, scripting, or AI-assisted design and test approaches.

•   Experience with silicon validation, debug, and yield analysis.

•   Laboratory experience with silicon testing (wafer and package level) and test equipment.

The base salary range that Micron estimates it could pay in for this position full-time is:

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
