Job Description Job Requirements, Qualifications/Experience Bachelor’s or advanced degrees in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Engineering, with at least 2 years of experience in frontend process or equipment roles. Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred. Embody Micron’s core values: People – Respect, develop, and empower others Innovation – Drive continuous improvement and breakthrough thinking Tenacity – Show grit and determination Collaboration – Build trust and foster teamwork Customer Focus – Deliver excellence and value Main Responsibilities Drive quality consistency for all incoming materials Continuously improve the IQC business processes Setup and maintain SAP QM (Quality Management) and SQM/MQM for incoming materials Perform incoming material inspection and characterize key incoming materials Setup SPC monitoring program and reaction mechanism Manage materials disposition through incoming material MRB Work with global stakeholders on supplier quality management Ability to work with external and internal groups with a positive, customer service orientated attitude Apply AI-Enabled and AI-Assisted methodologies, including LLMs, AI Agents, and Generative AI tools, to enhance inspection strategies, automate quality data analysis, improve anomaly detection, and drive continuous improvement in incoming quality control processes.
