About the Role:
Midas BRATCHER in Orland Park, IL is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Counter Person to join our team! This is a great opportunity to be the face of a trusted automotive brand, helping customers get back on the road with confidence. Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers at the service counter in a friendly and professional manner
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately communicate vehicle service needs to technicians
- Provide repair and maintenance estimates, explain services, and recommend appropriate solutions
- Process customer transactions, invoices, and payments efficiently
- Answer incoming phone calls and schedule service appointments
- Follow up with customers on vehicle status and service completion
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front counter area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive service, counter sales, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance services is a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced service environment
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
- Valid driver's license required
