As the Full-Time Controller at Minden Medical Center, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the month-end-close accounting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include performing monthly account reconciliations, assisting the CFO with financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, and addressing various reporting agency requests, such as those from AHA and CMS. You will analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and cost-saving initiatives while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards. Collaborating with executive leadership, you will develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's objectives.

Additionally, you will lead and manage our Senior Accountant, monitor internal controls, and participate in policy development to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, safeguarding Minden Medical Center's assets while mitigating financial risk.

To succeed as the Full-Time Controller at Minden Medical Center, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with an MBA or MHA  preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a hospital setting is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively collaborate across departments and ensure seamless operational integration.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with a sharp focus on accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial management software are critical for analyzing data and providing insightful financial analysis.
