Seeking a Compliance Analyst support mission and corporate compliance activities within a highly regulated Intelligence Community environment
This position helps ensure organizational operations remain aligned with applicable laws, executive orders, directives, regulations, policies, and mission requirements
The ideal candidate brings experience in compliance, legal, auditing, cybersecurity, intelligence, or other mission-related work and is able to apply sound judgment, critical thinking, and risk management practices to complex compliance issues

Responsibilities

→Provide compliance support to ensure organizational activities remain aligned with applicable laws, executive orders, directives, regulations, policies, and mission requirements
→Conduct periodic and systematic evaluations of internal controls, audit trails, and compliance processes
→Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements to strengthen compliance and oversight
→Monitor and report compliance status, risks, and clearance gaps to leadership
→Help establish and maintain consistent compliance control frameworks across domestic and international locations
→Coordinate compliance training and support updates to procedures resulting from new or revised requirements
→Research and analyze existing, proposed, and newly issued federal and state statutes and assess their potential impact on organizational operations
→Provide guidance to internal departments on required actions, policies, conformance testing, documentation, and ongoing monitoring requirements
→Apply critical thinking and analytical reasoning to make informed compliance determinations
→Prepare and maintain documentation related to compliance incidents, investigations, reviews, and processes
→Manage compliance incidents, including root cause identification, impact assessment, corrective action, and follow-up
→Gather and analyze information regarding applicable legal authorities, obligations, policies, and regulatory requirements
→Conduct compliance examinations using appropriate investigative techniques, standards, policies, and procedures
→Apply relevant mission, policy, and compliance standards when evaluating activities and determining appropriate actions
→Use compliance-related tools to audit, monitor, analyze, and collect oversight and compliance data
→Apply risk management principles and processes to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks
→Develop efficient strategies for completing compliance reviews and other assigned activities
→Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, colleagues, mission partners, and representatives from other organizations and agencies
→Prepare, edit, and review professional documentation including emails, memoranda, meeting minutes, status reports, and production reports
→Communicate compliance findings, risks, recommendations, and requirements clearly and professionally
→Train and mentor new team members on compliance processes, tools, policies, and procedures

Requirements

Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
Relevant experience performing compliance, legal, auditing, oversight, or related work
Relevant experience may also include mission-related areas such as collection, intelligence, or cybersecurity
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline such as Finance, Economics, Management, or Information Technology from an accredited college or university
Must meet one of the following experience and education combinations:
- Seven (7) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree
- Five (5) years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree
- Eight (8) years of relevant experience with an Associate’s degree
- Ten (10) years of relevant experience with no degree, based on the allowable experience substitution
Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply compliance policies, legal authorities, regulations, and organizational standards
Experience documenting, investigating, and managing compliance incidents or findings
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
Experience conducting audits, compliance examinations, or internal control reviews
Familiarity with risk management and corrective action processes
Ability to communicate sensitive or complex compliance issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary teams

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
