As a UX designer, you will take the lead in understanding care environments in Germany and North America ensuring our solution fits their workflow seamlessly. You bring experience in understanding new markets, positioning innovative solutions, and turning user feedback into clear, actionable improvements. You enjoy building clarity where little is defined and are confident in aligning teams to make changes that matter.

Momo Medical is a fast-growing and ambitious scale-up, tackling one of the biggest societal challenges: the future of elderly care. Over the next decade, demand for care is expected to double, while 30% of the current workforce is projected to retire. Our innovative solutions aim to reduce the pressure on healthcare workers while improving the quality of care for residents. 

As Momo is branching out in the North American & German market, we’re now looking for a driving force to make sure the challenges of caregivers and management are understood and their needs are met.

🚀 A minimum of 2 years in user testing, prioritizing actions, and aligning this with other teams.
💛 You contribute to better care for nursing home residents and help reduce the workload for healthcare professionals.
✈️ Spend 2–4 weeks every quarter in Germany or North America to meet users, test solutions, and collaborate with local stakeholders. For that you need to be able to get a valid ESTA.
📍 Minimum of 4 days per week at our Delft office.

Responsibilities

As a UX designer you will be driving the process of understanding new markets, shaping new solutions, and coordinating changes. Where other team members of your team focus on growing in these new regions, your focus will be on refining the product market fit and applying improvements to better align with the new region’s needs.

  • Market understanding: Deeply explore the needs, workflows, and challenges of caregivers and management teams in new regions and translate findings into actionable insights.

  • Scoping & prioritizing: Decide which changes are most important and create clarity on what is needed to get to this improvement.  

  • User-Centric innovation: Iterative testing with new solutions. Design and run structured user tests, collect feedback, and make well-informed recommendations for improvements.

  • Team Alignment: Facilitate clear communication and agreements with development, production, and service teams to ensure smooth implementation of changes.

  • Proposition definition: determine the best way to position Momo in new regions, including marketing approach, messaging, and clearly identifying the problem we solve for users.

  • Continuous learning and development: At Momo, we value growth. This means giving and receiving feedback, embracing mistakes as learning opportunities. With your experience, you will support other New Markets Explore colleagues to grow in their roles.

  • You are passionate about creating solutions that truly have value to the people working with it. You are solution-oriented and think out of the box to create new solutions and improvements.

  • Excited to find practical solutions when hardware, software or processes need improvements.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with user testing and used to working with iterative processes. 

  • With your open mindset and listening skills, you really understand the needs of caregivers and management. 

  • Strong communicator who can align and motivate teams. You are able to translate the care needs into actionable tasks for other teams and make sure changes are clearly communicated and aligned with other teams.

  • Confident to make decisions, prioritise actions. 

  • Excellent in English (Dutch is a plus).

  • Excellent in German
