Moon is an ambitious company reinventing the home improvement experience. We have the unique opportunity to work with market leading customers such as Closet World, Closets by Design, Closet Dimensions, and Brio Water. We build for the home improvement industry from within it.

You will own the accounting engine for Moon and its sister company: accurate close, clean AP/AR, payroll operations, and multi-entity discipline - on a modern stack, built audit-ready from the start.

•   You will join reporting to the VP of Finance as the second member of a deliberately lean finance team supporting a large, multi-entity operation.

•   Own monthly close, AP/AR, and payroll operations across entities.

•   Run intercompany and platform billing cleanly across related entities.

•   Build audit-ready processes and controls supporting SOC 2 and future diligence.

•   Automate relentlessly on Ramp + QuickBooks, and help lead an eventual NetSuite migration.

•   6+ years of accounting experience including controller or assistant-controller scope.

•   Multi-entity experience required; CPA strongly preferred.

•   Modern tooling fluency; drives automation to eliminate manual work.

•   Startup pace: closes fast, documents well, escalates early.
