We're looking for a Head of Marketing Strategy & Operations to be the commercial and operational engine of the Moonpig UK Marketing team.
This is a high impact leadership role responsible for connecting strategy to execution, ensuring our marketing organisation is focused, efficient, and set up to deliver outstanding results. You'll lead planning cycles, own the marketing budget, drive performance visibility, and build the systems, processes, and operating rhythms that enable best in class marketing across key seasonal moments and everyday campaigns.
Working closely with teams across Brand, Campaigns, PR, Social, Performance Marketing, CRM, Creative, Analytics and Research, you'll help shape how marketing operates at scale while ensuring every decision is informed by insight, performance, and commercial impact.
This role is based in our London Farringdon office, on a hybrid basis (2 days a week)
Lead annual and quarterly UK marketing planning cycles, aligning activity across Brand, Campaigns, PR, Social, Performance Marketing, CRM and Creative teams.
Build and maintain the full UK marketing calendar, including monthly campaigns, seasonal peaks, major events and product launches.
Own the UK marketing budget, including forecasting, spend allocation, tracking and optimisation.
Develop unified performance dashboards covering traffic, new customer acquisition, brand health and media efficiency.
Partner with Analytics and Research teams to evolve attribution, incrementality and performance measurement methodologies.
Lead post-campaign reviews, translating insights into actions that improve future planning, creative effectiveness and commercial performance.
Present regular marketing performance updates to the UK Leadership Team and Group CMO.
Own campaign workflows, briefing processes, approval frameworks and operating rhythms that support effective campaign delivery.
Drive collaboration across internal marketing functions and external agency partners.
Maintain and evolve the Moonpig Marketing Playbook, defining how major campaigns and peak trading moments are planned and executed.
Manage marketing planning, reporting, project management and performance tools to support operational excellence across the function.
Significant experience in marketing strategy, operations, planning or performance focused roles.
Proven success operating within a multi-channel marketing or ecommerce environment.
Strong commerciality with experience managing budgets, forecasting and Marketing investment decisions.
Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Experience building and improving reporting frameworks, dashboards and performance measurement approaches.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence at all levels of the organisation.
Strong organisational and project management capabilities, balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated experience creating efficient processes, operating models and ways of working that improve team effectiveness.
Collaborative approach with a passion for bringing teams together around shared goals.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity, focus and accountability.
