Moonshot builds the power infrastructure that makes AI possible. Our equipment goes into the largest AI datacenter deployments in the country, powering the models behind ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. Now we are turning that same technology inward to become the premier adopter of AI in manufacturing. As AI Adoption Specialist, you are the person who makes that real for every team in the building. You sit with teams, understand their workflows, identify where AI creates leverage, and deploy the tools that make it happen. You train people, build automations, and measure whether what you rolled out actually sticks. This role works across every department and is hands-on by design.

Responsibilities

  1. Hands-On Deployment: Implement AI tools and automations across the organization. This includes configuring platforms, building integrations, setting up workflows, and getting tools into people's hands. You are not writing whitepapers about AI - you are making it work.
  2. Training and Enablement: Level up the entire organization on AI, from the basics to the advanced. That means teaching someone in purchasing how to use ChatGPT to draft better emails, and it means helping engineering integrate AI into design validation workflows. Build training materials, run workshops, provide one-on-one support. Meet people where they are - some will be excited, some will be skeptical, some will have never used AI at all. Your job is to get every group moving forward.
  3. Workflow Analysis: Spend time with every department understanding how they work today. Identify opportunities at every level - from simple wins like better prompting for everyday communication, to bigger lifts like automating repetitive data entry or report generation. Prioritize quick wins that build trust and momentum.
  4. Adoption Tracking: Measure whether AI tools are actually being used after rollout. Track adoption rates, gather feedback, iterate. A tool nobody uses is a failed deployment, regardless of how good the technology is.
  5. Integration Support: Work with IT and software developers to integrate AI tools into existing systems (ERP, SharePoint, Outlook, production systems). Ensure new tools fit into existing workflows rather than creating additional work.
  6. Feedback Loop: Be the voice of the end user back to leadership. Surface what's working, what's not, what people actually need, and where the organization isn't ready yet. Help the Director of AI refine the strategy based on ground-level reality.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in technology implementation, AI/automation deployment, or digital transformation
  • Demonstrated experience training and enabling non-technical teams on technology tools
  • Experience deploying AI/automation tools in a business environment (not just building models)
  • Manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus but not required
  • Hands-on proficiency with AI platforms and automation tools (Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, ChatGPT/Claude enterprise, or similar)
  • Strong communication and teaching ability - you can explain AI to someone who has never used it and make them comfortable
  • Patient, persistent, and practical - adoption is a people problem, not a technology problem
  • Comfortable working across departments with different levels of technical sophistication
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Build Something Real: You are not running AI pilots that get shelved. You are deploying tools that change how a rapidly growing manufacturing company works every day. The equipment we build powers the AI revolution - and you are bringing that revolution inside our own walls. The impact is visible and immediate.
  • Career Growth: Moonshot is in hypergrowth and committed to becoming the most AI-advanced manufacturer in the country. You are getting in on the ground floor of that transformation. Early adoption specialists become the people who shape how the organization operates for years.
  • Innovative Culture: Moonshot is where AI meets the real world. We build the power systems that make AI possible and we use AI to build them better and faster. If you want to help an entire company level up on AI - from the shop floor to the executive suite - this is the job.
