Wealth Management (WM) Platforms manages industry-leading platforms, across all WM channels and client segments, to provide a unified digital experience, unlock growth, and deliver efficiencies for Advisors, Clients, and Institutions. It manages digital products used by over 16,000 Financial Advisors across the firm. WM Platforms consists of nine sub-teams including: Field Experience & Platforms, Digital Client Experience & Platforms, Workplace Platforms, Automation & Workflow Solutions, Digital Trading & Investing, UX Design & Research, Strategy & Execution. Business Control & Support, and the Chief Operating Office.
The Chief Operating Office (COO) Business Management Team is responsible for all aspects of the non-technology budget, managing financials and corresponding reporting across the Platforms organization. Business Management serves as the primary liaison between our core businesses and the vendors that support them. This includes the oversight of Platform's contingent workers as well as the management and enforcement of the Wealth Management expense policy.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Manage the contingent workforce lifecycle in Fieldglass: Contingent management (onboarding/changes/offboarding), including timesheet, billing, and compliance support.
* Own vendor relationships: cadence meetings, issue resolution, and support for extensions/conversions as needed.
* Support sourcing and contracting workflows for professional services: Intake forms, contract bidding, vendor onboarding.
* Maintain forecasts and provide financial oversight: P&L/ledger variance review (includes: accruals/T&E tracking, budget/Fieldglass reconciliation).
* Prepare materials and recommendations for leadership expense reviews and new business proposals.
* Process and approve invoices/requests using internal tools, providing policy guidance and escalation support where needed.
* Provide prioritized support for time-sensitive initiatives and other ad hoc reporting/assessments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Business Analyst or Project Management experience in financial services
* Basic understanding of accounting concepts (P&L, margin, forecasting, etc.)
* Strong program management and ability to work across complex, matrixed organizations
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
* Ability to interact effectively and collaborate with stakeholders across platforms - strong EQ is a must
* Effective, creative and flexible problem solver
* Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to interact at all levels of the organization and tailor messages appropriately
* Independent self-starter who can manage day-to-day deliverables and prioritization with limited oversight
* Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $190,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
