The Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) supports clinical quality and compliance efforts across their assigned clinics while maintaining a caseload with a minimum billable hour expectation. The QAM contributes to the implementation and maintenance of quality and compliance standards. This is done by supporting continuous implementation of evidence-based practices as well as helping ensure alignment with organizational and regulatory expectations. This role requires the quality assurance manager to provide on-site ABA services in the Charlotte region and remote quality assurance oversight with in-person support, as needed and approved. 
  • Review initial assessments and reassessments to ensure they meet medical necessity and clinical guidelines
  • Provide ad hoc review of Behavior Intervention Plans when implementation has not yielded clinically significant results
  • Provide remote consultation to BCBAs, including consultant supervision, in methods of effective case supervision and provide recommendations on clinical strategies/procedures to best support clients and staff (on occasion, in-person consultations may be required)
  • Support and oversee Mosaic’s client programming audit procedure to ensure clinical integrity and implementation of evidence-based practices at assigned clinic
  • Maintain client caseload performing all functions/services consistent with providing quality ABA care to clients
  • Other responsibilities may include providing supervision to students accruing fieldwork hours in accordance with BACB guidelines and providing supervision to RBTs in accordance with BACB guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager 
  • Experience developing and implementing training materials
  • Experience implementing ABA methodologies with children with autism ages 18 months to 12
  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, good oral and written communication
  • Experience using Central Reach
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Gmail office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification (must have at least 5 years of active certification)
  • Documented clinical experience and skill across a variety of learner types
  • Ability to work in clinics, offices, and travel to clinics outside their region.
