Responsible for clinical strategy and operational execution, partnering with clinical leadership to define clinical model, enhance patient care quality, experience, outcomes and efficiency. Oversight of all nursing. Collaborate with Amedisys partners as needed and build structures within collaborative structure and eventually internal structure.
DESCRIPTION OF COMPETENCIES
A. Operational Duties
• Lead, manage and mentor clinical leaders; oversee local nurses and overall MSaH performance
• Develop and present clinical strategies, partner with MSaH leadership to build and evolve clinical models
• Manage and lead direct reports to adopt and adhere to defined and standard workflows and KPI
• Build positive working relationships across MSaH, partners
• Analyze results, celebrate successes, explain variance and build and execute on any course correction strategies
• Ownership over regional clinical and financial results
• Assure clinical licensure, education and competency of clinical staff
• Work with operations dyad to drive staffing ratios and align with budgeted volumes
• Hold team accountable to all policies and procedures
• Ensure regulatory and clinical compliance
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance, hold accountable for defined goals and objectives
• Develop employees through coaching, mentoring and on the job training/development
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. (BSN) Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) RN who is matriculated in a BSN Program with a graduation date within the year. Any Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) RN with Nursing experience must be approved by the CNO.
- Relevant clinical competence in area of nursing practice assigned; new graduates must possess current knowledge of the nursing process and its application
- Licensed as a registered nurse with current registration in New York State
- Name: Basic Life Saver (BCLS) Issuing Agency: AHA
- 5+ years acute nursing experience
- 3+ years managing direct reports
- Interaction and experience with leadership teams

The salary range for the role is $139,748.00 - $209,622.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
