Mechanical Assembler

• →Assemble large machinery, fabricated metal products according to directions.
• →Read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation to build to specification.
• →Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
• →Check products to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolve any identified problems.
• →Perform other related duties as assigned.

• →Previous experience with and the ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• →Previous experience operating hand tools.
• →Ability to read a tape measure.
• →Detail-oriented.
• →Consistent workmanship.
• →Works well as a productive member of a team.
• →Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.

• →High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• →Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
• →Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis; lift 50# on occasion.
• →Must have manual dexterity to assemble products or machines as directed including bending, stooping, and reaching.
• →Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• →Must wear safety glasses, face shield, gloves, and ear protection.
