Heartland Dental is the nation's largest dental support organization, providing non-clinical administrative support services to more than 3,000 supported doctors across 39 states and the District of Columbia in 1,900+ dental offices. • →Oversight of a team of individuals who ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP and  applicable accounting policies. 
• → Perform detailed reconciliations reviews for balance sheet accounts monthly
• → Responsible for ensuring the monthly close process is executed timely and all balance sheet reconciliations  are completed accurately.
• → Ensure capital expenditure reporting is accurate and distributed timely
• →  Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement close reporting including preparation of  footnotes with proper support
• → Management of process improvement initiatives
• → Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners 
• →Assist with system design and implementations when appropriate 
• →Other projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Accounting
• Public accounting experience (Big 4) or large regional firm experience,  
• CPA or CPA candidate desired 
• In‐depth understanding of US GAAP
• Experience working with balance sheet reconciliations 
• Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills – ability to identify discrepancies, perform research, and work  toward resolution
• Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint 
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
