Aviation Facilities Electrician (Maintenance Electrician) - KCMO

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:

 •   Performs work in all phases of electrical maintenance including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of high voltage circuitry
•    Repairs and rebuilds a variety of components and lighting fixtures associated with lighting in the KCI terminal buildings
•    Operates heavy equipment used in the repair of directly buried circuitry
•    Operates heavy snow removal equipment and will be required to clear snow during emergency snow removal events
•    Performs other duties as assigned

Several full-time positions available with the Aviation Department - Facilities Structural Division
Location: 947 Mexico City Ave.
Pay Range: $26.10-$39.82 per hour 
Schedule: Shifts based on 24/7 operational coverage, schedules will include nights and weekends, schedules are assigned by seniority after training

High school graduation and 3 years of progressively responsible experience performing routine and moderately complex electrical maintenance and repair work;
OR an equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience. 
Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license in accordance with City of KCMO policies.
May be required to possess a valid MO Class A, B, or C CDL prior to the end of the probationary period as determined by the department. 
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and post-offer physical examination as prescribed by the City.
