What You'll Do
- Assist with body repairs and modifications on emergency vehicles.
- Remove, repair, and install body panels, bumpers, fenders, and structural components.
- Sand, prep, prime, and paint vehicle surfaces.
- Work with fiberglass, aluminum, and steel materials.
- Assist with fabrication and custom vehicle modifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Document completed work and communicate any issues to management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic knowledge of auto body repair, welding, refinishing, or a strong willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with tools such as sanders, grinders, spray guns, and welders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude.
- Technical school training in auto body or collision repair.
- 1+ year of related experience.
- I-CAR, ASE, or EVT certifications are a plus, but not required.
