Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Production Equipment Maintenance Technician to join the A&I Production Equipment Maintenance Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on Variable shift.

Position Responsibilities:

Performs maintenance on factory equipment

Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics

Uses and interprets advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment

Responds to requests for equipment repair

Maintains and manages component and replacement part inventories

Works under limited supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, SC (BSC)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or fabrication

1+ year of experience repairing production manufacturing equipment

1+ year of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)

1+ year of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters

1+ year of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Availability to work variable shifts, with the understanding that your assigned shift will not be confirmed until after training

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

3+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or fabrication

3+ year of experience repairing production manufacturing equipment

3+ year of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)

3+ year of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters

3+ year of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Ability to maintain a periodic maintenance program in a production environment

Shift

This position is for variable shift (shift 4). Variable shift means you will be assigned a shift at the time of hire based on business needs. You will remain on your assigned work shift until re-evaluation is required. Shifts assigned for training may differ from your permanent work shift. 

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: B-Level: $59,000-$65,000

                                       C-Level: $61,200-$68,000
