Requirements

You will report directly to the Construction Manager/Lead Engineer
Involvement in some or all the following aspects of Mechanical Contracting –Safety, Construction, Quality and Commercial Issues.
Development of piping and equipment construction work packs
Sign off piping test packs for pre-test. Pressure test and post-test activities
Recording of field welds for weld histories for inclusion within piping test packs
Onsite co-ordination between Mechanical and other Disciplines.
Responsible for all engineering in a defined area of construction
Resolving engineering queries in the field
Work with MSL piping supervisor to progress construction in their area
Weekly Progress reporting of their specific area
Weekly Variation reporting (Gathering this info from the area supervisor to give it to MSL Cost engineer)
Familiarise with scope of MSL contract to monitor possible our potential variation work on site
Ensure equipment is installed correctly within their area
Use of Navisworks 3D model to provide all necessary technical back up to their area piping supervisor
Ensuring all material, fabricated pipe spools and supports is on site are required for their area to follow the project schedule
Working with MSL QA lead to ensure piping systems within their area is handed over to client on schedule
Excellent knowledge of piping isometrics and P&IDs is essential
Min 3-5 years’ experience in construction engineering or trade supervisor role
