On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.

The Social Media and Digital Accessibility Graduate Student Assistant is a Temporary position that will be responsible for planning and creating content that reflects the office’s commitment to access, inclusion, and community engagement. In addition to supporting social media campaigns, the assistant will help ensure digital content highlights best practices on digital accessibility.

Minimum Requirements 

Enrolled as a student at Michigan State University during the academic year.

Experience using social media platforms including Instagram.

Proficiency with Canva and basic content creation tools.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and stay organized.

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of social media trends and audience engagement strategies.

Photography, videography, or graphic design experience.

Demonstrated creativity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Creative mindset with the ability to develop original and engaging content.

Familiarity with Instagram and other content creation tools.
