Lodge Janitor (Full-Time/Part-Time)

The Lodge/ Janitorial Attendant is responsible for general maintenance and cleaning of the main lodges at Mt. Rose including restrooms, lobbies, offices, and locker rooms. The Attendant will also remove snow from critical areas as necessary.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Must be personable and approachable. No previous experience is required.
• Able to communicate effectively with managers and supervisors
• Must be able to physically perform all janitorial duties including, but not limited to: lifting and carrying cleaning supplies, pushing mops, brooms, and vacuum cleaners, shoveling snow etc.

• INTERNAL: Employees and managers of all departments
• EXTERNAL: Resort Guests

• →Clean and maintain all areas of the resort lodge.
• →Give cleaning/maintenance priority to Customer Contact Zones - restrooms and lobby areas.
• →Clean and restock restroom supplies as needed during the day.
• →Clean and vacuum administration offices, department offices, employee locker rooms, and clean storage areas.
• →Assist with snow removal as needed.
• →End of day restroom and lobby clean up. Perform weekly cleaning duties as outlined on maintenance schedule.
• →Communicate with management staff regarding needed building repairs, supplies, or safety concerns.
