Responsibilities

- →You will engage your critical thinking skills in maintaining a safe, therapeutic and aesthetic environment.
- →You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols
- →Collaborate with the team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction
- →Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the health care team
- →Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
Requirements
~2 min read- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Washington state certification/licensure as a CNA or NA-R, MA-P, MA-C or successful completion of EMT Training Course
- MA-P or EMT will be required to obtain NA-R within 180 days of hire
- CNA, NA-R, or EMT will be required to obtain MA-P within a specified date as determined by location; Mary Bridge Hospital and Yakima locations does not require the MA-P
- Current BLS Certification
- Previous experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, or EMT, in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting within the last three (3) years preferred
