As the state-designated Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and the only pediatric hospital in Washington’s South Sound, we provide a comprehensive network of care designed specifically for children and adolescents.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →You will ensure completion of all necessary consents and documents for the medical record, utilizing hospital-approved abbreviations and following hospital charting guidelines
- →You will participate in all phases of education, maintenance of records, upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills
- →You will schedule procedures for Ophthalmology and Dermatology
- →You will gather initial health status of patients including vital signs and documents per policy
Requirements
~2 min read- Certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician or Certified Ophthalmic Assistant Certification must be maintained through continuing education
- Must obtain MA-R within 60 days of hire
- BLS - Basic Life Support (includes RQI) - American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician or Certified Ophthalmic Assistant
- Pediatric experience preferred
