- →Monitoring Pulse Oximetry
- →PAP titration
- →Polysomnographic montages and equipment calibration and function
- →Supplemental low flow oxygen titration
Requirements
~1 min read- Boarded by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT)
- Successful completion of an accredited (CAAHEP preferred) educational program leading to an associate degree with emphasis in polysomnography
- OR successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one year duration associated with a state licensed and/or nationally accredited (CAAHEP preferred) educational facility
- OR successful completion of an American Academy of Sleep Medicine A-STEP accredited educational program leading to a certificate in polysomnography
- OR minimum six months work experience as a Polysomnographic Trainee
- Minimum one (1) year polysomnographic technology experience (preferred)
- CPR required
