International Business Development Intern (Summer 2027)

Summer internships will range between the months of May and September depending on university schedules. Internship is full-time and on-site in Washington, DC.

The Growth team at Muon is responsible for expanding Muon’s customer base to international defence and civil agencies with satellite constellations. Interns can look forward to owning a project from start to finish which could involve conducting market research, competitive analysis, budget research, recommending potential in-country partnerships for a specified country, and mapping out customer engagement with key in-country leadership.  Come work with the team and help us expand into the international market!

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of or contribute to the market research needed to identify key opportunities that are matched with Muon’s capabilities.
• Initiate or assist competitive analysis and assessment of in-country primes, or other external satellite bus manufacturers.
• Recommend key customers and events in country to have Muon leadership attend

• Research skills to include identifying, synthesizing and summarizing open source data and ability to distill country strategy, defense and civil agency budgets
• Excellent communication skills.

This position requires access to export controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must either be (A) a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, (B) eligible to access the export controlled information without a required export authorization, or (C) eligible and reasonably likely to obtain the required export authorization from the applicable U.S. government agency. The Company may, for legitimate business reasons, decline to pursue any export licensing process.

• Previous internship or co-op experience 
• Previous experience on business or marketing project teams 
• Experience with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google suite of products (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
• Experience presenting results to medium size teams.

Bachelor's students $40/hour,

Master's $45/hour

PhD  $50/hour
