The Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator for the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab is a seasoned nurse able to assess, create and implement new innovating resources that will meet the needs of care team members. Provides direct line management and leadership for all Structural Heart patient care areas. Ensures proper standards are followed for nursing practice and provides interface between the support services and clinical services. Facilitates care delivery system development and operation, including but not limited to staffing and professional delivery of services. Must be present for twenty percent of staffing needs as they arise.

We’re looking for a seasoned RN who is passionate about clinical excellence, leadership, teamwork, and developing others. This is an exciting opportunity to grow as a nurse leader while remaining connected to a highly specialized and innovative area of cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator for the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab is a seasoned nurse who is able to assess, create, and implement innovative resources and solutions that meet the needs of care team members.

In this role, you will:

  • →Provide direct leadership and management for Structural Heart patient care areas
  • →Support, coach, and develop nursing care team members
  • →Promote a culture of teamwork, engagement, accountability, and clinical excellence
  • →Ensure appropriate standards of nursing practice and patient care are consistently maintained
  • →Serve as a key liaison between clinical and support services
  • →Facilitate the development and operation of effective care delivery systems
  • →Support staffing and the professional delivery of clinical services
  • →Identify opportunities to improve workflows, resources, and the overall care team member experience
  • →Remain connected to frontline operations and be available to support 20% of staffing needs as they arise

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cardiovascular nurse who is ready to advance into leadership, influence clinical practice, develop care team members, and help shape the future of EP and Structural Heart services.

Experienced new hires may also be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Bachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing and three years of related nursing experience; BSN preferred. Previous ambulatory care experience preferred.

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA-recognized equivalent, or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Healthcare Providers

Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand or at a distance. (Continuous) Ability to match or discriminate between colors. (Continuous) Ability to determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception.
