MUSC Children’s After Hours and Specialty Clinics is a pediatric outpatient clinic operating under Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital at MUSC, now opening in the new MUSC Medical Office Building at 700 Buckwalter Towne Blvd in Bluffton. This location brings pediatric After Hours services to the Bluffton community for the first time. During daytime hours, the facility hosts a wide range of pediatric subspecialists, including pediatric gastroenterology, cardiology, and orthopedics, among others. We also provide walk-in After Hours Care, which serves as an extension of the pediatric emergency department to support families during the times when most pediatric practices are closed.

Specialty Clinics: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

· After Hours Clinic:

o Monday–Friday, 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

o Weekends, 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Schedule: This full-time position consists of two 12-hour shifts (8:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.), two 8-hour shifts: 12:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and every other weekend from 10:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. with rotating holidays.

Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand or at a distance. (Continuous) Ability to match or discriminate between colors. (Continuous) Ability to determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception. (Continuous) Good peripheral vision capabilities. (Continuous) Ability to maintain hearing acuity, with correction.
