Sterile Processing Service Line Coordinator

The Service Line Coordinator promotes patient safety by ensuring all specialty instrumentation is complete, functional, sterile, and available to support scheduled and emergency surgical procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required.
- Minimum of three years of Sterile Processing experience.
- Demonstrated competency with specialty surgical instrumentation.
- Experience with instrument tracking software.
- Knowledge of sterilization principles, microbiology, and infection prevention practices.
- Knowledge of instrument names, functions, and specialty sets.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and recordkeeping.
Requirements

- Advanced knowledge of assigned service line instrumentation.
- Thorough understanding of sterilization principles and infection prevention.
- Knowledge of AAMI ST79 standards, manufacturer IFUs, and hospital policies.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
