We are seeking a highly skilled Exhibit Designer with advanced drawing skills, developed 3D modeling capabilities, and deep technical knowledge of how things are actually built. This role is ideal for someone with a background in product design, interior design, film set design, experiential environments, or design-build applications who understands creative intent and real-world construction execution. You will bridge concept and fabrication—translating design ideas into technically sound, build-ready solutions.

  • Develop products, custom elements, spatial exhibits and built environments from concept through fabrication in collaboration with Creative Director, Architects and Graphic Designers.
  • Produce precise technical drawings for construction documentation.
  • Create sketches, 3D models, renders and presentations of design proposals for approval.
  • Collaborate with fabricators, engineers, and contractors across different markets to ensure build feasibility.
  • Translate creative concepts into structurally sound, material-efficient solutions.
  • Prototype and iterate designs with an understanding of materials, tolerances, and joinery.
  • Develop and/or review shop drawings when required and oversee production detailing.
  • Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless integration into architectural environments.
  • Participate in value engineering and build strategy discussions.
  • Work closely with Graphic Design, Architecture and Project Management teams to ensure cohesive spatial and graphic integration.

Decision Authority

  • Task-level creative decisions within approved brand guidelines.
  • Task prioritization and resource allocation within assigned projects.
  • Production approvals at project level.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design or related fields.
  • 5+ years of relevant design experience in product design, product development, experiential design, film set design or design-build environments.
  • Experience working directly with fabricators and millworkers.
  • Understanding of structural principals, installation limitations and construction sequencing.
  • Strong technical drawing and documentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and construction processes.
  • Experience taking designs from concept through fabrication/installation.
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Sketchup and other 3D modeling software.
  • BIM/Revit previous experience highly valuable.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Strong English communication skills (C1 or above).
