This role will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and developers to translate business needs into effective system architecture and technical requirements. The Systems Architect will define architecture principles, system standards, integration patterns, and technical roadmaps that support modernization initiatives. The position will lead the design and integration of Drupal-based solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, messaging platforms, and other supporting technologies. The role will ensure system architecture meets performance, scalability, reliability, security, and interoperability requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong enterprise architecture, systems integration, Drupal, and software engineering expertise within complex technology environments.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Design and implement enterprise-level systems architecture aligned with business objectives, technical requirements, and modernization goals.

  • Architect and support Drupal CMS solutions, including integration with enterprise applications, services, and supporting platforms.

  • Design and implement system integrations using APIs, messaging queues, middleware, and other enterprise integration technologies.

  • Ensure architectural solutions meet requirements for scalability, reliability, security, performance, maintainability, and interoperability.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, infrastructure teams, security teams, and technical leadership to evaluate solutions and resolve architectural risks and dependencies

What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; three additional years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems architecture, software engineering, application architecture, or a related technical field.

  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing complex, enterprise-level systems architecture within large technology environments.

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Drupal CMS and enterprise integration technologies, including APIs, messaging queues, middleware, and system-to-system integrations.

  • Experience with SharePoint or similar enterprise content platforms is preferred, along with strong knowledge of scalability, security, reliability, and modern application architecture principles.
