Create a welcoming, safe, and engaging recreation environment where associates can recharge, stay active, and connect with their community. As an Associate Recreation Center Attendant, you will support the daily operation of Wisteria's recreation facilities by providing exceptional service, maintaining clean and organized spaces, promoting safety, and assisting associates across the fitness center, pool, and welcome desk. Your versatility, positive attitude, and commitment to service will help foster an environment that supports wellness, recreation, and an exceptional associate experience.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →A welcoming and inclusive recreation experience by greeting associates, providing assistance, answering questions, and fostering positive interactions throughout the facility
- →Clean, organized, and associate-ready fitness, pool, and common areas through routine and deep cleaning, equipment care, facility inspections, and attention to presentation standards
- →Safe and enjoyable recreation experiences by educating associates on equipment usage, safe lifting practices, spotting procedures, pool programming, facility guidelines, and emergency protocols
- →Operational readiness through inventory monitoring, restocking supplies, receiving deliveries, organizing storage areas, and communicating maintenance or inventory needs to leadership
- →Consistent facility standards through execution of opening procedures, closing procedures, equipment maintenance schedules, and pool deck setup and breakdown activities
- →Seamless membership and recreation services through facility tours, member registrations, point-of-sale transactions, cash handling, documentation, and issue resolution
- →A culture of safety and accountability by promptly identifying and reporting potential hazards and helping maintain a secure environment throughout the recreation center
- →Flexible operational support across Wisteria by assisting with Market operations, Pub setup activities, and Associate Housing projects when business needs require additional support
- A dynamic role supporting fitness, recreation, pool, and membership service operations
- Frequent interaction with associates, members, and visitors
- A balance of guest service, facility operations, cleaning, cashiering, and administrative tasks
- Regular use of point-of-sale systems and operational technology
- Opportunities to develop hospitality, recreation, wellness, and service skills
- Independent responsibilities combined with a collaborative team environment
- Indoor and outdoor work environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions
- Flexible scheduling that may include early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical activity that includes walking, cleaning, stocking, lifting, setup, and facility support duties
- A people-centered mindset and genuine passion for creating positive experiences
- Strong service skills and a welcoming, approachable demeanor
- The ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment

Requirements
~1 min read- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, or the ability to obtain all certifications within 60 days of hire
- Ability to serve as a first responder in emergency situations and follow established emergency procedures
- Ability and willingness to work in all areas of the recreation center based on operational needs
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems and workplace technology effectively
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary to successfully fulfill the responsibilities of the position
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
