Robotics Project Management Co-op

Neptune Medical, is an innovative, venture capital funded medical device startup headquartered in Burlingame, CA. We have already commercialized novel medical devices using our technology. Now the team at Neptune is building something truly unique: a fully flexible medical robot that enables doctors to reach deep into human anatomy. Triton Robotic Endoscopy will disrupt flexible endoscopy and set a new standard in outcomes for decades to come.

• →Support project planning, scheduling, and execution for robotics R&D and product development programs
• →Track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks across cross-functional teams
• →Prepare and maintain project plans, timelines, dashboards, and status reports
• →Facilitate team meetings, design reviews, and action-item tracking
• →Coordinate communication between engineering, quality and manufacturing
• →Support leadership with data gathering, analysis, and presentation preparation
• →Work well both independently and as part of a fast-moving, collaborative team.

• Current undergraduate or master’s student in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
• Interest in project management within a technical or robotics environment
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project or similar) is a plus
• Comfortable working with technical teams and learning complex systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
• Demonstrated interest in medical devices, robotics, or startup environments

Neptune Medical is located in Burlingame, CA, near the Millbrae Caltrain and BART station.  

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting hourly rate for this role is between $31 and $38 depending on experience. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon many factors, such as education, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and location. The hourly rate pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for 401(K) with matching.
