About the Role
~1 min readAs a Process Engineer, you'll provide technical support across manufacturing and packaging sites to solve supply, quality, & cost issues and lead improvements, supporting qualification of new raw materials, and delivering new products via understanding formulation requirements and delivering process and packaging to meet requirements.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead and execute technical projects to ensure that the process and supply chain are robust and deliver target quality, cost, and volume.
- →Act as technical single point of contact for select contract manufacturing sites, products, and technologies. Review and approve specifications, batch records, troubleshoot quality or supply issues, and identify improvements.
- →Lead and execute new initiatives focusing on material qualifications, process/package development, specifications, and transfer/start of production at contract manufacturers.
- →Apply product development expertise to ensure robust product/process/package manufacturing.
- →Identify technology upgrades that deliver product improvements.
- High level of collaboration and influence skills with ability to lead cross functional teams and with external partners.
- Demonstrated project management ability to drive initiatives on timely, effective, and efficiently basis.
- Flexible and agile with ability to independently support multiple projects and manage priorities.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Strong documentation and communication skills to capture key learning’s, conclusions and recommend next steps.
- Highly motivated, results oriented, self-driven.
Requirements
~1 min read- BS/MS Chemical Engineer, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Industrial Pharmacy, or related field required.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a Product Development/Process Development/Technical Services/Process Engineer role.
- Experience in formulated products in a cGMP/regulated environment desired with preference given to individuals with strong background in the Dietary Supplement or Drug industries.
- Solid dose formulation, scale-up, and technical transfer experience a plus. Role includes lab/pilot scale/plant work as part of projects.
- Preferred experience with proteins, probiotics, fermentation processing.
- Demonstrated success in leading product delivery initiatives.
This is a hybrid role based in Southern Vermont
What We Offer
~1 min readThe target salary range for this role is $85,000 - $105,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. New Chapter considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, tuition reimbursement, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon the company’s performance
