New Directions provides life-changing treatment for chemically dependent adolescents and their families dealing with emotional, behavioral and psychiatric needs. We are looking for the right person to be a direct care provider in our residential treatment program. Treatment Specialists coordinate, supervise and participate in client activities and their daily schedule to ensure a successful treatment plan implementation. 2nd shift & 3rd shift Full-time openings

Shift pay differential for both 2nd & 3rd  shift 

Responsibilities

  • Provide trauma informed residential services to clients within the residential facility including individual and group interactions.
  • Develop rapport with residents to promote a welcoming and trusting residential environment. 
  • Provide accurate, concise, and concurrent documentation according to program procedures and policies. Including, but not limited to staff logs and residential Individualized Service Plans.
  • Seek and secure professional development consistent with licensure and credential requirements for personal and organizational growth.
  • Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) required within set time period/employee paid.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid training certification (may be completed within three months of date of hire).
  • Valid driver’s license (with 4 points or less).
  • Weekends & Holidays as required

The anticipated hiring range for this position is $19 - $21 per hour. Starting pay will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
