The role:

You will be comfortable spearheading the creation of intuitive and engaging user experiences. As a Senior UX Designer at Newicon, you will be responsible for designing the aesthetics and workflows that ensure a captivating user experience in our software solutions. This role demands a deep understanding of UX principles, a passion for design, and a commitment to delivering visually appealing and functionally effective user interfaces. Iteration, prototyping  and testing are key.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX projects from concept to completion
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for complex projects, ensuring consistency.
• Collaborate with our team and clients to understand their goals and translate these into interactive UX prototypes.
• Collaborate with project managers, solution architects, defining project roadmaps and ensuring on time, on budget and high quality delivery
• Conduct workshops with clients and users to rapidly test and refine ideas and prototypes.
• Mentor your peers, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in UX design and technology.
• Enjoy running client workshops and design sprints

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in UX design, preferably in an agency
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous work that reflects deep UX knowledge and innovation.
• Proficiency in design tools such as, Figma and PenPot 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous, agile, evolving environment.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
