Responsibilities

    6 years of electronics experience.

    Strong understanding of electronics fundamentals and have basic computer skills.

    Able to read schematics and drawings, follow written and oral instructions, communicate effectively.

  • →

    Basic soldering skills and ability to earn IPC J-STD-001 certification with provided training.

  • →

    Familiarity with RF circuit test equipment including vector network analyzers, signal generators and analyzers, etc.

  • →

    Ability to safely use basic hand tools and shop equipment.

  • →

    Candidate must have the ability to acquire a Security Clearance.

  • →

    Must be a U.S. Citizen and provide proof of citizenship.

  • →

    Able to travel up to 25% of the time to support field testing.

  • Associate Degree or 2 year certificate in electronics technology, or equivalent education.

  • Advanced understanding of electronics fundamentals, testing, and troubleshooting.

  • Strong capabilities in fundamental and advanced RF and microwave concepts and measurement techniques.

  • Proficiency in the use of general lab equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, analyzers, and various meters.

  • High skill level soldering electronic assemblies for both surface mount and through-hole components.

  • Ability to create prototype electrical boards based on engineering schematics. 

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,500.00 - $125,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
