Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst (Level 5) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Roy, UT to support the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • →Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives.
  • →Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
  • →Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
  • →Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 10 years of related professional experience - OR - a PhD with 8 years of related professional experience. 16 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.)
  • Experience with P6 Primavera, Deltek Open Plan, Microsoft Project, Deltek Cobra/MPM, Deltek Acumen, or other Schedule Risk Assessment software tools.
  • Experience working in P6 Primavera Environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel (including Macro/VBA)
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically 10% of the time.

  • Experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling
  • Experience in P6 Primavera Data Structures
  • 2+ years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
  • Experience in Multi-Project/Schedule environments
  • Experience integrating Subcontractor Schedule data with Prime Schedule data
  • Aerospace/Defense Industry Experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
