Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Logistics Specialist/ Principal Supply Chain Logistics Specialist. This position is located in Ogden, Utah.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Accountable for leading 10+ assigned employees and contingent workers, allocating daily projects, tasks, and workloads to ensure deadlines are met.
- →In this role, you will provide technical, tactical, and execution support in various aspects of industry standard supply chain business process areas, primarily supply chain production and supply chain logistics, as well as supply chain business operations.
- →Manage the shipping and receipt of goods, including opening packages, verifying quantities, and confirming accurate item delivery
- →Must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize workloads and manage concurrent projects and timelines.
- →Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory-related issues
- →Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure optimal stock levels
- →Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- →Manage the cycle count process, performing cycle counts and resolving discrepancies, including inventory in the warehouse, as well as in work-in-progress (WIP) areas.
- →Ability to work hours necessary to meet business objectives. This may include working overtime (40+ hours in a work week)
- →Ability to operate a sit-down Forklift Ability to operate a Reach truck Ability to operate a cargo van or similar vehicle
